Moving to Morocco

Moving to Morocco

Ever wondered what it's like to pack up your life into a suitcase and move to another country, sight unseen? Well, hundreds (or probably thousands) of people do this every year when they accept TEFL jobs all over the world.

When I worked in Spain, I had a support system through my M.A. program, and it helped that I knew the language. Morocco was a whole different ballgame. However, thanks to help from a few key people (with whom I had only communicated online prior to the move) and a lot of luck (most of it good, some of it bad), in July of 2016 I managed to relocate my life from southwest Virginia to Casablanca, Morocco.
